Ancillary Task Photo Shoot

I started off by taking pictures of a few friends pretending to be in class but it was not working as it did not realistic enough. Following this I went into the schools career office and decided to take a few photos of the different resources that the school has to offer surrounding the subject of post 16 education. I started by taking a few photographs less focused on topic area, I then thought about putting the objects into context by choosing books or leaflets that were relevant to the topic area. Then I had to think about the layout or composition of these in comparison to my page layout.

 

 

The three photographs that are larger and to the left of the page I have chosen to concentrate on and use and fit into the title and page layout to see if I want to use them. I chose the first one due to the angle at which the picture has been taken and the space around the picture that I can use to fit any more photographs or text. The other two photographs are similar to one another but taken at slightly different angles and positions. I chose these due to the context of the objects of the photograph and how they fit into the documentary I am filming and the topic area.
